“Be Imitators of God and Walk in Love” Eph.5:1

If He were in your shoes how would He treat your next door neighbor? …..or person who is your thorn in the flesh,…..or the boss that drives you insane? How far would He walk to help the sick coworker,…. the lonely widow, …..the man with addiction?

IS JESUS IN YOUR SHOES?

If He were in your shoes how much time would He spend on social media, …..his favorite TV addition,…..or at the golf course or body building at the gym?

If He put on your expensive Nike kicks or 200 dollar hiking boots how much would He sacrifice to give to needy families or missionaries in the jungle?

IS JESUS IN YOUR SHOES ?

To “imitate” Jesus means to think the same way and copy Him.

It Means Do as He does ,,,,,,, Love other people of the world

It Means Follow His example Help them with their needs

It Means Be like Him and tell them the good news of eternal life

SO WHEN I IMITATE JESUS

I try to think as He would think about life…..do not lay up treasures on earth but treasures in heaven

I endeavor to follow his commands…… seek first the kingdom of God and His right ways of living

I strive to care about what He cares about……. consider all the children of the world they are His children

I decide to pray the way Jesus prays……. My Father in heaven your kingdom come in my life and not my will but yours be done.

I copy the places He goes in the world….. to the sick, lonely, hurting, wounded, disadvantaged, and forgotten

IS JESUS IN YOUR SHOES ?

I often forget and go do what He doesn’t want me to do

and I too often say what embarrasses Him

and I forget and neglect the things He asks of me.

He is always there but I forget His presence and when I doubt

I push Him out

SO LET ALL OF US IMITATE JESUS AND

Go into all the world wear the shoes good news like He did

Be a good Samaritan like He was

Forgive the one who hurt you like He forgave His enemies

Sacrifice for others and serve the needy

Be a servant with a wash basin of humility for everyone

Believe Him for miracles and live by faith

LIVING “ALOHA” IN THE ALOHA STATE

“PRESENCE OF BREATH” or “BREATH OF LIFE”

This is the literal meaning of ALOHA. but it represents many things and many different words in Hawaii. It is a greeting “hello” and”goodbye”. “Aloha’oe– “may you be loved”. It is the spirit of harmony and affection. It is mutual respect and kindness. It is fondness and compassion, mercy, sympathy, grace and charity. It says “I love you” to a friend or lover.

The “spirit of aloha” is state law on the islands. It is not a law with a legal penalty but a reminder to all government officials to treat people with respect and dignity and kindness. It is an attitude of “think and emote good feelings to others” who come to your office or to do legal business with you. “Spirit of Aloha” means give loving consideration to those with whom you have business.

Having lived here on the island for a short time I see the “Aloha Spirit” in many ways. We were recently at a government office and were treated so very nicely and on more than one occasion by Hawaiian nationals who worked there.

Unfortunately many visitors and vacationer’s don’t know about the state law and bring the hurry up and serve me or get out of my way mentality from the mainland.

Living ALOHA is actually loving others first as you would yourself. You may recall the words of the Master, “love your neighbor as you love yourself”  Amazing the Aloha Spirit started out with the commands of Jesus.

Can you even try to imagine what a transformation would occur in our communities on the mainland and our states and nationally if the ALOHA SPIRIT permeated the lives of society? “Do unto others as you would have them do to you” — radical, miraculous, impossible,— we say in  today’s hate filled world.

This is the Mission House on a truck being unloaded.

Today it is a two story building almost completely finished

God provided thousands of $$$$ to perform this miracle

and many many workers came to sacrifice and erect this great miracle.

COME TO SUTTER HOSPITAL FOR STAGE 4 COLON CANCER SURGERY

GOD HAS TOTALLY SET ME FREE

HE IS MY HEALER….. MANY GREAT HALLELUJAH’S

I AM A WALKING MIRACLE

MY NURSE JANE FUZZY WUZZY

She took care of my recovery and nursed me back

After one year now we are returning to our mission trip

to Praise God for wonderful health and healing

God’s Word Tells

“He will have no fear of bad news because his heart is

steadfast trusting in the Lord”

I CAN SAY……. I had no fear of bad news, no worries about my future

I did have lots of pain for many days ! But now that is all gone.

I am stronger than before and excited for the privilege to

return to Costa Rica and serve once again.

 SO MANY PEOPLE PRAYED FOR US….WE ARE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL.

We have learned that ….
